Aquitaine enjoys four distinct seasons: a hot sun and a maritime influence from the Atlantic.
Spring starts early, usually around mid March. The weather can be very beautiful and warm but changeable.
Summers arrive around mid May when the temperatures are anywhere between 27C rising to 38C in July and August with potential for thunderstorms.
Autumn is beautiful and busy as the wine harvest is in full swing.
Winters can occasionally be very cold in January but otherwise mild and short.

June and September: Weather is perfect and it is quieter.
